Obituary of Michael R. McDonald

Michael McDonald, 72, of Riverview, NB; passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Monday, April 5, 2021 after a lengthy battle with cancer. Born in Halifax, he was the son of the late Ralph and Florence McDonald. Mike moved to Moncton and worked for CN at the shops and later in the diesel shop at the Hump Yard. He was known as "CUZ" by his co-workers. After retiring from CN, he worked for Armour Transport. Mike was an avid bowler in Moncton and Riverview. His hobbies included long walks around the Hump Yard taking pictures of the trains. He is survived by his daughter Shonda Steeves and grand-daughters McKenzie and Stevie as well as many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his wife Brenda (LeBlanc) in 2005, his partner Barb Brooks as well as his in laws Rene and Lee LeBlanc In keeping with Mike's wishes,there will be no visitation or service.
