Obituary of Marion L. Messenger

Marion L. Messenger of Riverview passed away at Monarch Hall, on Sunday, October 18, 2020 at the age of 90 years. Born in Durham, Quebec she was the daughter of the late Alfred T. and Doris (Hughes) Smith. A loving mother to her son Bruce and her daughter in law Andrea of Ottawa, ON. Marion's warm, outgoing and friendly personality will be missed. She enjoyed playing cards and particularly looked forward to playing bridge with friends. Marion was also an avid golfer and member of the Moncton Golf and Country Club until she was in her late 70's. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband Ronald Messenger in 2012, Brothers Alan (1988), Albert (1993) and Evan (2011).
