Obituary of Annie McIntyre

It is with great sadness that the family of Annie (Daigle) McIntyre announces her passing after a long illness at the Dr-George-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre on June 12, 2021 at the age of 82. Originally from Pointe-Sapin, she was born to Sylvain and Agnes (Doiron) Daigle on January 23, 1939. Annie had a lot of love for her family. She enjoyed gardening, playing cards and, most of all, her bingo on Sunday nights. Annie couldn’t wait for summer to see how many hummingbirds and their little ones would return to perch in her blooming lilac tree. Annie will be dearly missed by her two sons Maurice (Lisa) Daigle and Gary (Rita) McIntyre and three daughters Marie-Mai (Vernon) Theriault, Carole (Christine Lewis) McIntyre and Lisa (Dean) DeLucas. Her loving grand children: Jonelle, Yves, Mathieu, Justin, Eugere, Nadia, Lucas, Noah, Andre. Her great grandchildren: Tory, Dominic, Desmon, Declan, Mason, Sophie, Caleb, Caileigh, Carlisle. She will also be missed by her three surviving brothers Noel, Robert and Armand. Annie was predeceased by her parents Sylvain and Agnes, her husband Wilfred McIntyre and twelve siblings: Clementine, August, Alphe, Gregoire, Alphonse, Lise, Leonie, Antoine, Isidore, Antoinette, Nazaire, Catherine. The family will be celebrating Annie’s life with family and friends at the Sainte-Anne Roman Catholic Church in Baie Ste-Anne at a later date. The funeral arrangements are in the care of Tuttle Brothers Funeral Home in Riverview NB. For those who wish to honour Annie’s memory, donations may be made to the CHU Dumont Foundation. Elle aimait jardiner, jouer aux cartes et, surtout, son bingo du dimanche soir. Elle avait toujours hâte à l’été pour voir combien de colibris reviendraient avec leurs petits se prélasser dans son lilas en fleurs. Le départ d’Annie sera pleuré par ses deux fils, Maurice (Lisa) Daigle et Gary (Rita) McIntyre, ainsi que par ses trois filles, Marie-Mai (Vernon) Thériault, Carole (Christine Lewis) McIntyre et Lisa (Dean) DeLucas; ses petits-enfants qu’elle aimait: Jonelle, Yves, Mathieu, Justin, Eugere, Nadia, Lucas, Noah, Andre; et ses arrière-petits-enfants: Tory, Dominic, Desmon, Declan, Mason, Sophie, Caleb, Caileigh, et Carlisle. Elle manquera également à ses trois frères survivants, Noel, Robert et Armand. Elle fut précédée dans la tombe par ses parents, Sylvain et Agnes, son mari, Wilfred McIntyre et douze frères et sœurs: Clémentine, Auguste, Alphée, Grégoire, Alphonse, Lise, Léonie, Antoine, Isidore, Antoinette, Nazaire, Catherine. La famille organisera une célébration de la vie d’Annie en l’Église Saint-Anne de Baie-Ste-Anne à une date ultérieure. Les arrangements funèbres ont été confiés au Tuttle Brothers Funeral Home à Riverview NB.
