Obituary of Boyd S. Miller
Boyd S. Miller, 88, formerly of 80 Church St. Moncton, passed away at his residence Veterans Center, Moncton on Thursday, July 24, 2008. Born in Oxford, NS; he was the son of the late Fred and Hattie (Andrews) Miller. Boyd was a retired foreman with the CNR. He served his country overseas with the Royal Canadian Army during WW II. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion.
He is survived by his children Donna Miller of Moncton, Deborah Caissie (Normand) of Alberta, Dale Cormier (Emery) of Moncton, Sandra Miller of Moncton and Randy Miller (Michaeleen) of Winnipeg; children's mother Pauline Miller of Moncton; a grandson James Miller, grand daughters Danielle Miller and Jennifer O'Hara; two great grandchildren; sisters Matilda "Tootsie" Smith and Shirley Miller both of Moncton; brother Ross Miller (Joan) of Moncton; sister-in-law Mona Miller (the late Kenneth "Barney") also of Moncton, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Resting at Tuttle Brothers Funeral Home, Lutz St. Moncton on Sunday, July 27, 2008 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm.
The funeral service will be held at Tuttle Brothers Memorial Chapel on Monday, July 28, 2008 at 2:00 pm with Rev Jonathan Gorham officiating.
Moncton Legion Branch # 6 will be conducting a veteran's service on Sunday evening July 27, 2008 at 6:45pm at the Tuttle Brothers Funeral Home.
Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
Donations made to the Charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated.
