Obituary of Joseph Robert Silliker

Joseph Robert Silliker of Shemogue, NB passed away peacefully at his residence on Sunday, November 22, 2020 at the age of 77. Born in Val-d'Or, Quebec he was a son of the late Charlie and Irene (Vautour) Silliker. Joseph was employed as a steel worker until his retirement. He loved spending time with his family and had a love for music, he especially enjoyed playing his guitar. Survived by his loving wife, Kim Silliker (Strang); daughter, Sarah Strang of Shemogue, Laura Porter (Rob) of St. Stephen, NB; son, Zachary Strang of Moncton, NB; sisters, Betty-Ann Silliker of Port Elgin, NB, Shirley Silliker of ON, Marion Silliker of Moncton, NB, April Silliker of Shemogue and Barb Silliker of Port Elgin, NB; brothers, William Billy Silliker of Sussex, NB, Gary, Bimbo (Wendy) and Stanley Silliker all of Port Elgin, NB; grandchildren, Keysha, Lindsay, Erin, Alex; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by brothers, Danny, Roy and Floyd Silliker; sister, Bunny Silliker. In honor of Joseph there will not be any visitation or funeral service held. Donations in Joseph's memory made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
