Obituary of Robert "Rob" D. Penney

Rob Penney, 62, of Moncton, NB; passed away suddenly at his residence on Monday, December 23, 2013. Born in New Glasgow, NS in 1951, he was the son of the late Abram "Bert" and Margaret (MacDonald) Penney. Rob was retired from the Sobey's Distribution Center in Stellarton, NS. He was a animal lover and a huge sports fan and Montreal Canadiens Fan, he loved watching the Hockey as well as Baseball and the Olympics. He is survived by his loving wife Doreen (Robinson) Penney and her daughter Rhonda Graham of Moncton, his grandson Sean Rizzotti of New Glasgow; one sister Mary Turner (The late Robert) of Hope Well, NS; one brother John Penney (Karen) of Stellarton, NS; sister-in-law Marlene Penney of Ontario; his brothers-in-law Dave Robinson (Jean) and Paul Robinson (Joan) both of Moncton, Brian Robinson of Ontario; sister-in-law Cathy Robinson of Moncton, as well as several nieces and nephews and by is loyal companion Frankie. Besides his parents, he is also predeceased by his brother Francis. At Rob's request, services will be held in Stellarton, NS, in the spring of 2014. Interment will be in The Anglican Cemetery in Stellarton, NS. Donations in Rob's memory made to your local SPCA would be appreciated by his family. Arrangements have been entrusted to Tuttle Bros.
