Obituary of Robert "Bob" Carl Goodwin

Robert Goodwin of Moncton, passed away at The Moncton Hospital, on Tuesday, September 17, 2013 at the age of 72 years. Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late Merritt and Lucy (Wilson) Goodwin. He enjoyed 59 years working with Carson Construction. Survived by wife of 26 years Holly (Nichol) Goodwin; son Carl (Kerri) Goodwin; daughter Shelly (Serge) Allain; son Dana Parent; daughters Natalie Parent and Crystal Parent with whom he resided; daughter in law Crystal Parent; sister Jean (David) McCarthy; twelve grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his brother Ronnie Goodwin; son Lorne Parent; daughter in law Gail Parent. Visitation will be held at Tuttle Brothers Memorial Chapel, 171 Lutz St. on Friday, September 20, 2013 from 10:00am until time of funeral at 11:00am with Rev. Jeff Irving officiating. Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery. Donations in Robert's memory made to the The Friends of The Moncton Hospital, The Canadian Red Cross or the Moncton SPCA would be appreciated.
