Obituary of Lois Bernice Budd
Lois Bernice Budd, 77 years, of Wallace, NS died on Thursday, July 14, 2011 at Wallace Bay, NS. Born in River Hebert, NS, she was the daughter of the late John and Bernice (Berry) Seaman. She was a born again Christian and attended Pugwash Jct. Gospel Hall in NS. She was a former employee of Eaton's order office, foster mother for 13 years, also worked for many years as a nursing aide in nursing homes in Calgary AB, and Riverview, NB. She lived in Calgary AB from 1976-1984 when she returned to Moncton, NB. She is survived by her family; two daughters, Mrs. Jerry Thompson (Anne) of Wallace Bay, NS, and Pamela Lewis of Moncton, NB; three sons Thomas Budd and Elsa Gauthiere of Riverview, NB, Michael and Elizabeth Budd of Riverivew, NB, and Paul and Shelley Budd of Bowser, BC; 11 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by husband Ralph Budd; daughters Nancy and Patricia; her parents John and Bernice; sister Marjoire Budd and brothers David and John Seaman. Special thanks to Glenda and Paul Morton, Eleanor and Clarence Budd, the George L. Dumont Hospital Hemodialysis doctors and staff, and the Victoria General Hospital, the Halifax-home dialysis doctors and staff, also the VON. Donations can be made to the Canadian Bible Society, the VON, the Kidney Foundation, the Heart and Stroke Foundation, or the hospital of choice. Visitation will be held at the Gospel Hall, 895 Salisbury Rd. on Friday July 15th from 3:00pm-5:00pm and 7:00pm-9:00pm, and on Saturday July 16, 2011 from 11:30am-12:30pm. The funeral service will be held at the Gospel Hall on Saturday July 16, 2011 at 1:00pm, with reception to follow at the church. Interment will be held at Elmwood Cemetery, Moncton, NB.
