Obituary of Robert "Bob" C. Hamilton
Robert "Bob" C. Hamilton, of Shediac Cape, passed away following a lengthy illness (Marfan Syndrome) at The Moncton Hospital on Thursday, September 13, 2007 at the age of 84. Born in Shediac Cape, NB he was the son of the late Frank and Edith (Burden) Hamilton. Bob was a farmer for many years and was a former school bus driver and custodian with District 15. He was a life long member of St. Martin's in the Woods Anglican Church Shediac Cape, NB. He was a member of the Canadian Marfan Association.
A loving and caring husband, brother and friend he will be sadly missed by his wife of forty years Lilian (Hanington) Hamilton; a sister Ella Welling of Moncton; brother Harvey Hamilton of Shediac Cape; as well as several Hanington brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents he was predeceased by a sister-in-law Enid (Killam) Hamilton.
At Bob's request there is no viewing at the funeral home.
The funeral service will be held at St. Martin's in the Woods Anglican Church, Shediac Cape, NB on Monday, September 17, 2007 at 2:00 pm with Ven. Richard McConnell officiating.
Interment will be in St. Martin's in the Woods Anglican Church Cemetery.
Donations in Bob's memory made to the Canadian Marfan Association (128 Queen St. South, P.O. Box 42257 Mississauga, On. L5M 4Z0) or to memorial of the donor's choice would be appreciated.
