Obituary of Hazel Beatrice Budd

Hazel Beatrice Budd, 97, of Irishtown, passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Monday, January 9, 2006. Born in Moncton on February 10, 1908, she was the eldest daughter of William & Ada (Dryden) Crandall. Hazel was a retired employee of the Moncton Hospital. She attended the Moncton Gospel Hall and was a member of the Ladies Missionary Group. She is survived by six daughters, Lillian Wrigley of Irishtown, Carol Douthwright (Richard) & Helen Crouse (Keith) both of Rosevale, Albert Co; Joyce with whom Hazel resided, Kathryn Pellerin (Leonard) of Moncton, and Rosalie Steeves (Wendell) of Berry Mills; four sons, Ernest (Stella) of Irishtown, Willard (Joyce) of Lutes Mountain, Vaughn (Tillie) of Trail BC, and Rae of Beaverlodge, AB. two sisters, Hilda Horsman of Moncton and Helena Horsman of Indian Mountain; twenty-seven grandchildren, fifty-eight great grandchildren, six great-great grandchildren and a daughter-in-law Lois Budd. She was predeceased by her husband James Henry Budd in 1970, sons Ralph, Harold and infants Robert and Daniel, brother Hardy, half-brother Ralph, son-in-law Gordon Wrigley, sister Helen, half-sisters Ella Leonard, Mina Nelson, Bertha Peterson and Hattie Doughtwright, grand daughters Nancy, Donna and infants Patricia and Mary Visitation is at Tuttle Brothers Funeral Home 171 Lutz St. Moncton on Tuesday, January 10, 2006 from 3 to 5 PM and 7 to 9 PM. The Funeral Service will be held at Tuttle Brothers Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, January 11, 2006 at 2:00 PM. The family will be receiving relatives and friends in the reception area of the funeral home following the funeral service. Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery in the spring.
