Obituary of Pauline Grace Tidd
Pauline G. Tidd, 84, of Moncton, NB; passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Monday, January 6, 2014 with her loving family by her side. Born in Sunny Brae on October 16, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Bernice (Taylor) Anderson.
She was a former member and Explorer Leader at the Humphrey Memorial United Church. Pauline enjoyed Western Style Square Dancing, collecting Tea Pots and baking the best bread for her family and friends.
A kind and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, she will sadly missed by her loving husband of 67 years Ernest; her three daughters Linda Ward (Gary), Jill Lewis (Bob) and Darlene LaFrance (David) all of Moncton; her three sons Jim Tidd (Susan), Ken Tidd (Peggy) all of Moncton and Doug Tidd (Lora) of Bashaw, AB; she is also survived by one sister Judy Christie (Bob) of Riverview; one brother Earl Anderson (Jean) of Moncton, NB; three brothers-in-law Dave Copeland (Dorothy) and Bob Tidd (Lucille) all of Moncton and Donald Tidd (Diane) of Kingston, ON., two sisters-in-law Lorraine Anderson of Guelph, ON and Adelaide Coneen (Bill) of Moncton and by her seventeen adoring grandchildren, twenty-nine great grandchildren and one great-great grandson, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents she was predeceased by an infant son John Ernest Tidd; sister Helen Copeland; brother Ralph Anderson; her mother and father-in-law Edna and John Tidd as well as sister and brother-in-law Shirley and Wayne Reaume.
Resting at Tuttle Brothers Funeral Home 171 Lutz St. Moncton with visitation on Wednesday, January 8, 2014, from 2:00 to 4:00pm and 7:00 to 9:00pm.
The funeral service will be held at Tuttle Brothers Memorial Chapel, Moncton on Thursday, January 9, 2014 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Chet MacPhail officiating.
Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery in the spring.
Donations in Pauline's memory made to the Friends of the Moncton Hospital Foundation or to the Alzheimer's Society of Southeastern NB would be appreciated by her family.
