Hello all, I knew your Mom and Dad for many years. Although I know there is more history, my Dad (Nickie, George Byron Nicholson) was friends with Ralph, your Uncle. We crossed paths many times over the years as we have lived in Riverview for almost 47 years. The service was truly Lois, no question about it! The music was so suited to your Mom and the Fiddlers always bring such joy! I remember running into her at the cafeteria and on the elevator at the hospital and chatting was always easy, with neither one of us short for words. Again, lovely service, you are all in our thoughts and I know Lois leaves with your families, many warm and heartfelt memories! Bless all of you! Frank and Millie Shannon

Dearest Family Lois loved you all so dearly. She was many things to many. A devoted wife, caring Mother, and doting Grandmother. Lois life was such a beautiful example in so many ways, and this she expressed also, in her profession as a dedicated Nurse over the years. She showed this same kind nature in her walk in life each day. With unconditional love, she encouraged and reached out to her family, and many others. She truly loved life, and lived it to its fullest. No one can ever replace such a beautiful person. Though we grieve her absence now, may the love and wonderful memories we shared, comfort us, knowing that a bond so great that was created through her love for you, transcends beyond, and remains eternally within our hearts.

Barb, Sue and Brenda and extended families: We remember the first day we met your mom sharing a room with our mom at the hospital. She was a very kind, loving lady and wanted to help in any way. From that moment we were very fortunate to meet three of her loving daughters and have become very good friends. Losing parents is not easy but when we lose our last one it seems a final chapter has come to an end but may all the wonderful memories you have of your mom help your through these difficult days. Love, thoughts and prayers are with you all Carol and Darlene

Dear Barb, I found your mothers obituary and immediately was taken back to her warm smile, kind welcome and interest in all things YOU did and those, like me, who might have been part of them. Please know that I am praying for your family in these days of loss. May the celebration of life include a trumpet solo from you...and lots of warm memories, celebrating a life well live.

Lois was a great supporter of Sussex Avenue Fiddlers. She attended all the events and always brought the popular rhubarb punch to the fiddle doos and other special events. Both Lois and Fraser left their mark on the music of this area and will be fondly remembered. Ivan Vivian and Sussex Avenue Fiddlers.
