Helen was a very important part of the teens lives in Lakeville. She gave us a safe place to hang out with our friends at the weekly dances at the school. She and Joan Daborn gave up their time, knew each of us by name and watched over us like we were their own. I hope she knew how much we all loved, respected and appreciated her. I don’t think there is one of us that wouldn’t have a smile on our face when we talk about Helen and our memories of her. Rest Easy Sweet Soul, your kindness will never be forgotten.
