So sorry for the loss of Michael. I remember Tina telling me about him leading meditation, when I was a client of hers. A great loss and taken too soon. Take care, Anne Keiver

Marlene & Family,
We are so sorry to hear of Mike's passing. I've missed our chats in Riverview when he was picking up his grandson after school - Mike always recognized us & would say" Hi" whenever we met, when I gave him 'the do I know you look' he would always say "I am Marlene's husband" - then we had our good chats about family.
We are thinking of you with love & prayers that God will bless you & all of Mike's family with many fond memories of happier times to help ease the pain of sadness during these difficult days & give you comfort in the future as you continue on life's journey without your loved one. Mike will certainly be greatly missed by all who knew & loved him.
With heartfelt sympathy from all,
Gordon, Mary & Karen Morton
PS I first met 'Michael Thomson' when our Hub City Kampers donated a Pulma Aid to Extramural Program in memory of one of our deceased members many, many years ago - I didn't know at that time that he was "Mike, Marlene's husband".

I worked with Mike at The Moncton Hospital when he arrived with Marlene and their three young daughters from Montreal.
He was in his early years as a Respiratory Therapist and immediately many of the hospital staff became his new work family.
His personality brought a ray of sunshine into a room. It could be a patient room, our staff room,or a nursing station.
Our loss was the EMH's gain when he decided to shift gears and go there for the rest of his working career.
He will be remembered fondly by all the patients that he cared for .Also, all the staff he interacted with,,bringing a smile to their faces on a day when it was dearly needed.
Yes,you were one of a kind.
Dennis Shaffer, Retired Respiratory Therapist

I always enjoyed our chats over the years. He will be sadly missed by everyone who knew him. Sending love and strength to Marlene, the girls and families. RIP Mike. Fly high and continue to watch over your loved ones. Hugs to the family.

My heart aches to hear the loss of my dear friend Michael. Albeit we moved to different parts of Canada we were able to have a few crazy golf games in Toronto or Moncton ( The Elton Open) being the most memorable. The phone calls were always the best, reminiscing of our days at school and trying to figure out what happened to so and so . I will miss those crazy calls with Michael that went on and on, until out of the blue he had enough with the gibberish and would abruptly end by saying "Okay Bye Now " but Michael how about "click " . You will always be near and dear to my heart Michael , Au revoir !
Marlene , Cara , Tina and Laura stay strong and close for each other and know that he was truly a wonderful friend as well as a husband, father and grandfather to all, he talked about you all the time , he will be dearly missed but never forgotten, Our Deepest Condolences and prayers goes out to all of you
Love Bruno and Deb.

Marlene and family, we send our condolences for your loss. I worked with Micheal in the Extramural Program for a number of years. He had such a great and humerus approach to life.
We all enjoyed his stories and observations. After his and my retirement my husband and I would run into him and you Marlene occasionally. In the past few years Covid did prevent all of us from our usual trips to the Mall etc where we would encounter one another.
We will indeed miss the possibility of running into Micheal and reconnecting. The world was certainly a much better place with Micheal in it. ♥️ Linda & David Price & Family

During Mike's time with Extra Mural, he helped both my dad and my mom. They always looked forward to seeing him as he always brought a smile to their faces. He was one in a million. So kind, so friendly, so helpful. Heaven has gained a wonderful angel.

We were so sorry to hear of Michael's passing. We met Michael through his brother Ian and enjoyed him very much. We had the pleasure of golfing with him. While golfing he told us that number 7 was our friend and when in doubt use number 7. Whenever we would use our number 7 and we didn't have a good shot we would always say "Michael number 7 is not our friend". I know this summer when we are golfing we will raise our number 7 club and continue to tell him that number is not our friend. We know he will be terribly missed by all that knew him. Our sincere sympathy.

So sorry to hear of Mikes passing. I worked with him at ExtraMural for 16 years and he made it a better place with his smile, kindness and sense of humour. If he said “I have a story” you knew you had to put work aside for a few minutes but you were in for a good laugh. Many of his stories were about his family and it was obvious how much he loved you all.
