Obituary of Donald R. Casey

Don Casey passed away suddenly on March 3, 2022 at the age of 68. Donald was born in Moncton, one of five children of the late Verta and Bill Casey. He will be dearly missed by his wife Sue Morton, his two children Karen Casey (Nick) and Chris Casey (Catherine), his brothers Nelson, John, Willie, and Oliver, and his nieces and nephews. Donald got his nickname " The Bread Man" from his previous work with Canada Bread and enjoyed his days recently working as a part-time merchandiser for them at Sobeys Riverview. Don was a man of few words with a big heart who would do anything for his friends and family. He could always be found either in his flower garden tending to his roses or relaxing on the beach of Murray Corner. He had a profound passion for the sport of hockey and took his hockey pool and card collecting very seriously. The family will receive visitors at Tuttle Brothers Funeral Home, Riverview, on Tuesday, March 8, 2022 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. Donations in Don’s memory may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
